We drove all day on Saturday to Estes Park on the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. We went via the scenic route through the park which I highly recommend. And when we got here we had fantastic neighbors in the RV park. They had 4 kids with them, one of whom was a 10 year old girl…. She and Elizabeth bonded and had a great time. Elizabeth is missing her friends (so are we).
We have a number of animals to add to the on-going list spotted this summer
- Elk
- Marmot
- Ground Squirrel
- Buffalo/Bison (not sure of the difference)
- Lizard
- Stellar’s Jay
- Chipmunk
- Llama

Hi Karen,
Well, according to David, there is no difference between Buffalo and Bison. They are used interchangeably. We are so enjoying all of your fun photos and stories! Oh, and David wants to know what a Stellar's Jay is - is it a bird? Did you get a photo? And was the Llama's name Tina?
