(Karen) We met some folks from Australia at our RV Park. They have a little girl of 6 and a boy of 8 and so they have had a great time running around the camp ground together, climbing around in our camper, roasting marshmallows, etc. We booked the same boat trip as them which worked out so well because they played together on the 9 hour trip (there is a picture of Elizabeth with Taylah and Kieran below).
These are the animals we saw:
- Hump backed whales
- Sealions
- Harbor Seals
- A bear walking on a glacier
- Bald Eagles
- Cormorants
- Puffins (they are SO cute)
- Dall Porpoise (black and white dolphins)
- Sea Otter
It was SO FUN! The porpoise were my favorite... they swam in the wake of our boat and they were just beautiful. Elizabeth kept laughing and laughing watching them. She also loved seeing the tails of the hump-backed whales when they dived. The weather was perfect.

So good to see your faces. Sounds AWESOME....I so want to go to Alaska now. Well, I've wanted to go for a long time but now I really want to go with all of your tips and such. Sad, I keep missing you on the cellular...
